19th February Update
So it looks like this is going to be the last ever set of photos of the Cornerstone Centre build project. I’ve been documenting the build on and off over the last 17 months and it’s now virtually done. Since I visited a couple weeks there have been only a couple changes.
Firstly the original door that seperated the previous main hall with the main church has been refitted, which you can see in the first photo. Logos have gone onto glass doors and partions are going in. The main hall even has a chandelier now.
Last Thursday all building and decorating items were stripped out for an inspection and refitted. From what I’ve been told there are a few bits and pieces that need a coat of paint, some panels need to be covered up and that’s it. By the end of next week the builders will be completely done.
Which leads to the next part. There will be an official launch on the 6th May at which time the timelapse from the build will be displayed (and of course displayed on this website). I’m also going to completely revamp this website with final location pictures and there will be a booking system implemented and a few other changes. The St John’s Church website will also be completely revamped so in a few weeks there will be a fabulous centre available for use as well as two new websites.
